MODEL 821S 10-Step
Gas Divider
The Model 821S allows instrument operators and
manufacturers to check the linearity of their instruments, by the
use of only one calibration gas and one diluent. Eleven fixed steps
from 0-100% concentration are provided, each step rising by 10% The
unit operates the method of dividing two gases through a chain of
10 identical capillary tubes, in such a way that the operator selects
the number of capillaries to which each gas is open. The Model 821S
has a repeatability performance of +/-0.5% of point, and when used
in conjunction with the Model 852V5SP Pre Diluter, gases of up to
1,000 times greater in concentration can be used.

These Models can be used either to dilute 2
or 3 gases or to increase the versatility or the Model 821S Gas Divider.
When using the Pre-Diluter, the calibration gas to be diluted, and
the diluent gas are connected to the rear of the unit, at a pressure
of 50psi. A 20- turn counting dial and a flow meter on the front panel,
allow the percentage dilution to be set. Each unit is supplied with
its own logarithmic calibration curve for the purpose of correctly
setting the dilution. The units are temperature controlled to 40 deg
C, and can be supplied with remote controlled servo kit and D to A
converter.

enclosure houses both the NH3 to NO converter as well as a self contained

The Model Noxgen 3 series allows instrument
operators and manufacturers to check the converter efficiency of their
Chemiluminescent NOx analysers.
The
unit is controlled by using two decade thumbwheel switches adjustable
from 00 to 99, and a three position ozone level switch for low, medium
and high settings. The Noxgen 3 R provides the option of remote control
using TTL levels for all operational functions

ZERO AIR SUPPLY
MODEL AS80
The Model AS80 catalytic air purifier is designed
to provide an inexpencive source of clean, zero-grade air for flame
ionization detectors (FID). The unit removes all hydrocarbons, including
methane, down to 0.1% of original level. Up to 10 FID units can be
run from one unit. The AS80 contains a high temperature furnace containing
alumina pellets coated in platinum. this oxidises all combustible
compounds to CO2 and H2O. The unit can completely remove methane at
rates of up to 5 l/min high efficiency and up to 20 l/min medium efficiency.
